Meet our new Production intern, Kait Krueger! She’s joined our team virtually as we stay out of the office and our work keeps ramping up. In a few short weeks, she’s been super helpful in keeping us organized and asking all the right questions for projects. Kait’s also shared a ton of great skincare knowledge on our Slack—we’re going to be so #nofilter glowing by the time we see each other in person. Before we get too caught up in whenever that might be, read on to learn more about Kait!
Q: Where did you go to school and what did you study?
A: I went to the University of Kansas in good ole’ LFK (Lawrence f**king Kansas). I was a Journalism major studying Strategic Communication with a double minor in Business and Psychology. I didn’t know anyone or anything in Kansas before going to school, but now it’s my second home.
Q: Any passion projects, jobs or extracurriculars?
A: I found my grandpa and dad’s old film cameras in the basement this past December. Photography is something I’ve always been interested in but never really pursued it until now. It has been really fun to experiment with film photography and my dad has been able to teach me so much. One day, maybe soon, I want to start selling some prints of my photos or make a zine because I’m really proud of how far I’ve come already. For now, I have a photography Instagram where I share all my photos. I just love to show pictures of the world through the lens that I see it from.
Q: What type of work are you most excited to try this summer?
A: I’m really excited to learn and experience the role of a project manager in an agency. After studying everything in school it will be really cool to put it all into practice, build relationships with clients, and get to implement a project in real-time that the whole team worked on.
Q: Favorite WFH snack?
A: You’re going to think I’m super weird for this one, but that’s okay. I LOVE white cheddar Cheez-Its with green Tabasco drizzled on top. It’s cheesy, crunchy, spicy and a little tart, it’s really the perfect combo. Try it, and you can thank me later.
